課程簡介 (Course Description)

本課程旨在教授學生鋼結構設計的基本理論、設計方法及其實際應用。課程內容涵蓋鋼材特性、結構系統、設計規範、構件設計及連接設計等主題。透過理論講授與實際案例分析,學生將能夠掌握鋼結構設計的核心技能,並將其應用於實際的工程項目中。

本課程著重於建築鋼結構的基本分析與設計,並介紹 ASD(允許應力設計法)及 LRFD(荷載與抗力係數設計法)兩大設計規範的基本原理及應用,旨在培養學生的實務設計能力。課程內容包括:

  1. 鋼結構的基本知識。
  2. 拉力構件設計。
  3. 壓力構件設計。
  4. 撓曲構件設計。
  5. 梁柱構件設計。
  6. 連接設計-螺栓及焊接。

 


 Course Description

The "Steel Structure Design" course aims to equip students with a solid understanding of the fundamental principles, design methods, and practical applications related to steel structures. The course covers a comprehensive range of topics, including the properties of steel materials, structural systems, design codes, component design, and connection design. Through theoretical lectures and the analysis of real-world case studies, students will acquire core skills necessary for steel structure design and apply these skills to actual engineering projects.

The course focuses on the basic analysis and design of building steel structures, with a detailed explanation of the fundamental principles and application of both ASD (Allowable Stress Design) and LRFD (Load and Resistance Factor Design) codes. The course is designed to develop students' practical design capabilities, covering the following key topics:

  1. Basic knowledge of steel structures.
  2. Design of tension members.
  3. Design of compression members.
  4. Design of flexural members.
  5. Design of beam-column members.
  6. Connection design – bolts and welds.

成績說明

成績說明 (Grading Criteria)

  1. 出席率 (Attendance) - 0%
    • 每週教學活動請在簽到處簽到。上課10分鐘內到達計為出席,超過10分鐘視為缺席,簽到以一次為限。
  2. 課程參與 (Class Participation) - 50%
    • (1) 每週課程單閱讀率需達到規定標準。
    • (2) 在限定期間內完成測驗或作業,成績達60分以上者,可獲得該週 3.57% 的成績。
  3. 期中考 (Midterm Exam) - 20%
  4. 期末考 (Final Exam) - 30%

Grading Criteria

  1. Attendance (0%)
    • Please sign in at the attendance desk during each weekly class activity. Attendance within 10 minutes of class time is counted as being present; over 10 minutes will not be counted. Only one sign-in per class session is allowed.
  2. Class Participation (50%)
    • (1) Weekly course reading completion must meet the required standard.
    • (2) Tests or assignments must be completed within the designated period. A score of 60 or above will earn 3.57% of the course grade per week (50%/14).
  3. Midterm Exam (20%)
  4. Final Exam (30%)
